Update........But never late!? Almost!

Ok Jen, Enough is enough!! Be nice I am not exactly 100% quite yet!! ;)

So here it is!! The last month dare I say SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never experienced bigger pain sickness etc. etc. in my whole life!! For those of you who have not heard the drama from your mama! I had a hernia yep a hernia at 6 month's prego! I woke up in major discomfort @ 5:00 a.m. on January the 14th. Thinking it was just simple growing pregnancy pains. I thought maybe even upset stomach. I popped a couple of tums and headed out the door for work. When I arrived I felt increasingly WORSE I mean BAD! A close Friend and co-worker Tara asked how I was feeling. I explained and she commented on how pale I looked and that she was worried. I ignored the thoughts, being the work horse stubborn chic that I am, and went out to run my morning shift at the Fuel Center. When I unlocked the door and counted out my drawer... a ton of bricks hit me like a semi truck! I was on the floor in absolute agony! I called my husband (hero) Scott and told him he needs to leave work and take me the hospital! After that I called my store director explained the situation, and he told me to leave immediately! I am sure because he has seen me have other major symptoms at work before. But that's a whole other chapter. Anyhoo, my hubby arrived and rushed me to the emergency area at the hospital.
They took my usual diagnosis and then proceeded to tell me that I should of gone to the womens hospital due to me being prego! How nice to know that! They did blood work and gave me morphine (it did nothing). Then transported me to the womens hospital via Ambulance. When I arrived they gave me more morphine (still no relief) and ran more wonderful tests. Mom and dad arrived and came to my side and Scotts. They ran x-rays saw nothing! Blood work Nothing! When hearing about previous surgeries, and learning of a former hernia they made the determination that, that was the current problem. Might I add that they were monitoring the baby this whole time, and he was perfectly fine! the only part of me that was! Well after the doc's conclusion.... "surgery" to cut me open and look to see what was really happening. So they transported me back to the hospital opened me up to take a peek and surely enough I was a "Badley Herniated" (not sure if that is a word or not). They performed surgery immediately. Four hours later, they tell my Hubby mom and dad, that the hernia was wrapped around my Small intestine twice and my colon.

I woke up at the womens hospital they transported me back there after surgery and began a month long recovery!!!! I am so thankful my baby was okay and still is! my recovery has been dreadful!!! I no longer fear labor, not at all!!! I have lost 16 pounds, due to not holding anything down for a month. Which has the doc's worried so I am being monitored weekly. To make sure the baby is growing healthy. So far he is the most healthy yet, I would not want it any other way though. I am still very weak and tired all the time. I venture back to work next week. Prayer's are a constant activity in my home and I have been blessed. I want to thank God and the Docs and all of my loved family and friends for there support and prayers. So here it is I am going on prego month 7, and praying that, that # is lucky!!!!!
