Okay, well where should I begin? My health has been an episode I should write for the series "House!" I have been a medical mystery from January of this year. I have had hernia surgery as most of you know, back six months ago. And since then My life has never been the same. I have been in and out of the ER seven time's Yep I said Seven! With countless tests, X-rays, Blood work, cat Scans. I have been tested for Krohns Disease, Sillyacs disease, ulcerating Colitis. Mean while wasting away, not holding any thing down. Or it going straight through me, and being in horrific pain all the time. Well the specialist I have been seeing lately is a Gastrologist. Dr. Bown he suggested one final test, an endoscopy. So no matter my feelings, I have had no results or answers yet, so I was not even the slightest bit hopeful. When I went in at 7:00a.m. on Thursday the 16th guess what he found?!?!!? ..................
My esophagus I Know I must of miss spelt that! sorry, Grammar is not my better subject! Any who my esophagus was shrunk down to the size of an ink pen Cartridge! (You know if you take a pen apart and the cartridge that holds the ink?!?!) Yes that Tiny TINY tube was my esophagus! So that would explain all my miserable elements! In fact that comparison was what the doctor used as an example exactly! He told me that he put a Balloon down the scope to pump it up and stretch it. He said it should end all my discomfort and vomiting and diarea. He did say it will take some time for my body to adjust and that I may need to get this procedure done two more times to fully cure it. As of right now, I feel average meaning OK! but not in agony, but also not celebrating either. I had a rough morning this morning but the last couple of days were good. I am grateful so GRATEFUL! They did find out what it was, and now we know what to do if it acts up again! Yeah no more ER visits! I am so thankful for all of my family and their support and Prayers! I love you all your Gold! My hubby too, this has been a long road for him and even though were still working on some more bumps your the love of my life. My sweet little spirit, my love monkey!! You light up my life baby boy! With that said thanx to my bff Jen, your so awesome I am blessed with a great sister. Who dose all these cute layouts for me and who always cheers me up!! Man'I feel like a praying fool! especially on the day you were having the scope test. I really was telling the Lord that I had faith and that you would get a diagnosis. I sure hope this doctor is 100% right about you being all better. Even if you have to have the balloon pumped up a few more times. Your spirit and attitude has even changed you have the spunk back that I have missed. I love you so much, and you have been doing such a good job with Fatty frog belly.. aka: monkey love! Love sis BIG' sis!
I can't believe that no ONE but me comments on your HEALTH update... I mean its GREAT NEWS! There were days when I really thought you were so bad you were going to die! Luv you! P.S. yesterday was so fun!
I hardly blog hop anymore these days. I don't have the time or the energy. But you should post more often ;) Glad to hear you have a possible end to the misery. My dad had to have his widened in December b/c food would get stuck-it was scary somedays. Hope it helps and that you can put everything behind you.
So gald they finally found something and that your doing a little better. I'm sure it will take sometime to fully recover after 6 months of a messed up system. XOXO MOM

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. I hope that all will be well for you from now on. Stockton is a doll. You deserve to feel well and be able to fully enjoy him!
Yaaaaaaaay, I am so glad you have found out what is wrong with you. What a blessing that they finally found out what was causing all that greif. Luv you cuz and I'm so happy your getting better.
I feel so happy for you. I completely understand how hard and rough the journey is of medical testing and no answers. I pray that you are able to recover quickly and get back to your life.
Love Jill
PS. HAd much fun with you at DI, Robert's, and Olive Garden. We should do it again.
Stockton makes me laugh he looks just like Mini-me as in the actual Mini-me Vern Troyer from Austin Powers. He's awesome "I'll shall call him Mini-me." Fatty Frog Belly works to what Jen calls him or Elmer Spud could work too!
that better be a mini me as in the cutest mini mi I have ever seen! because mini me (austin powers) very frightening looking not what I would call cute, maybe funny! I LOVE MY FATTY FROGGY BELLY! now I am gritting my teeth and need to kiss him!
Hi Jen's sis! I just have to ask were you tested for C-Diff? Have you had issues with dehydration cause of everything else? This is something I received after a surgery from antibiotics in my case but is commonly transmitted in hospitals, sadly. Did they do a colonoscopy too? Didn't read all your posts so I'm not sure, what about IBS? P.S. Have them also check your B 12 vitamins, when you have your symptoms this gets very depleted and can not be regained with pills, they need to give injections. As I said I have been through a bad ordeal and just wanted to give you some ideas. Also the C-Diff test tends to show alot of false negatives and needs to be re-run.
